Daniel Puppin
Architectural Designer
Who I Am: I’ve been in the business of building since I was old enough to work, and design has been my passion for even longer. I aspire to create an architecture that amplifies humbler qualities, where less is sometimes more, and grandiose ideals take a back seat to principles of intuitive, user-tailored design. I keep my knowledge well rounded; I love to study history, theory, astronomy, philosophy, and ecology. Through these interests, I’m driven to explore, hike, dive, stargaze, travel, and gather wisdom from anyone willing to share it.
What I Do: I first joined DEXD in 2021 after graduating from Architectural Studies at UofT. The next year, I left for Australia to complete my Master of Architecture at University of Melbourne, graduating in 2023. DEXD has been home to my professional career from the get-go, and I’m happy to have contributed to projects from across the built spectrum. My work includes transit design, signage and wayfinding, detail design, airport works, and industrial/residential fit-outs. I’m continuing to grow, learn, hone my expertise, and contribute my best.
